Aunt Laura's Visit

This weekend Laura came to FL to take one of her tests.  We went to Star Wars Weekend and the Magic Kingdom to meet the Fairies. 

8 Months!

I can't believe it, Lila is 8 months old.  She is learning new things everyday.  Lila can now move forward (not quite crawling but very close), has 2 teeth, loves the swimming pool, and is starting to pull herself up.  Hopefully before next month she will learn to sleep through the night!!!!

She's on the move!

Lila is on the move! She can now scoot backwards and forward! Our little baby is growing so fast.

She even has a battle wound from all her practicing!

Cincinnati

Last week we went to Cincinnati because Tom had a tournament. While we were there we visited with family and friends, went to the zoo, and the aquarium. We had a lot of fun and Tom did great in his tournament (which means we are heading to NJ in a few weeks!)

Clapping

The other day Lila started clapping for the first time. She is so proud of herself when she does it. The video is a little dark, but still cute.

Swimming

This afternoon, we took Lila to the pool in our neighborhood.  She seemed to love the little float we have for her!

Dress

Recently, I have been enjoyed sewing when I have a little bit of free time.  I repurposed one of my old shirts to make a dress for Lila!

I made it without a pattern and with out any measuring, so when I tried it on her, I was shooked at how perfect it fit her!

Raleigh, NC

This past week we went to Raleigh to visit Glutz.  It was about a 9 hour van ride, and Lila did really well!  We had a lot of fun visiting and seeing the town!

These are a few pictures of our drive to Raleigh. Lila slept, tried out the head phones that came with the car, watched a little Baby Einstein, and cry some.   Overall it was a very successful drive!

Here are some pictures of our trip!  We went on walks, took the dogs to the park, went to a beautiful rose garden, and had a great time just visiting!
