Magic Kingdom

Lila has been asking to go to Disney World for a few weeks, so on Tuesday we decided to take her to Magic Kingdom for a few hours.  Like always she had a great time.  I love that she gets excited every time we go to a Disney park, even though she has been going to Disney since she was 10 days old!

Big Girl Bed

We decided to go ahead and get Lila her big girl bed so she would get used to seeing it in her room.  She has already decided that she loves it.  Every time we go upstairs, the first thing she does is climb on the bed.  The bed we picked is from Ikea and is expandable to a twin.  I am very happy with our choice!  Tom also painted the walls green, so our little boy won't have to have a pink room.

Saratoga Springs

Earlier this week we went to one of the pools at Disney's Saratoga Springs with some friends.  We were only planning on being there an hour or two, but Lila had so much fun we ended up being there almost 4 hours.

VA Trip

Last week while Tom was out of town for a tournament, Lila and I headed to Va to visit.  We had a great time visiting with everyone.

Finger Painting

I have been trying to find things to do with Lila to keep her busy.  We decided to give finger painting a try.  I found some recipes online to make some paint.  The first one I tried didn't work out, it was just to goopy.  But she had fun anyways.  So I found another recipe which was a little watery, but worked well enough.  She wasn't to sure about the whole thing at first and was worried about her hands being messy.  But in the end she had fun!
